Born in County Derry, Northern Ireland, Orla is an actor from Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).

Following graduation she joined the 2006 cast of Disney’s Number One Tour of Beauty and the Beast playing the Egg-Timer, and later rejoining the 2008 cast to play Mrs. Potts. Her party piece is singing any Beauty and the Beast song on demand.
